PHARMEXCIL: Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India is the regulatory agency authorized by the government of India. It saddled with the duty to regulate and oversee the exportation of pharmaceutical products from India.
Some of these products include bulk drugs, formulation, an Indian system of medicines, herbal products, clinical research, and so on. It was established in May 2004 to serve as the middle man between the government and pharmaceutical companies concerning foreign markets and issues. It is formed under the Export Promotion Council (EPC) for the pharmaceuticals sector in India for the common interest of all.
